Short answer: signing up is free, but the free plan has 0 credits
You can create a Higgsfield account for free. But in Higgsfield’s own plan comparison table, the Free column shows:
- Credits: 0 (Starter gets 270 a month)
- Video models: “Not included” or “0 videos” for every video model in the table
- Commercial use: Not included
- 1 concurrent job
So you can look around for free, but to actually make videos you need a paid plan. The cheapest plan is Starter at $19 a month. The biggest saving we found is to log in through a referral link, which brought the annual plan down to Plus $35/mo and Ultra $70/mo when we checked on November 4.

Higgsfield says 270 Starter credits are about 135 Nano Banana Pro images or about 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos. Prices exclude tax.
What about “free generations”?
Higgsfield plans list “free gens” for some of its own tools (for example, Plus lists 30 free AI Influencer generations). These come with a paid plan. Higgsfield’s help center describes them as a one-time pool that does not renew each month. Credits you already paid for stay usable after you cancel.
Unlimited models and free generations only work on the higgsfield.ai website. Higgsfield says they are not available in MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer.
Which plan should you pick?
- Just want to try a few images: Starter, $19 a month. We saw no referral discount on Starter.
- Want to make videos regularly: Plus on the annual plan. Through a referral link it was $35/mo instead of $59.
- Heavy video use: Ultra on the annual plan, $70/mo through a referral link instead of $129.
How to get the referral discount
- Open Higgsfield with the button below.
- In the same browser, create a free account or log in.
- A “personal 55% OFF offer” appears. Click “Claim Discount”.
- Choose a plan and pay within 3 hours. The discount applies to the first payment; renewals are at the normal price.
A note on “free credits every day” claims
Some sites say Higgsfield gives free credits every day. We could not confirm that: the official comparison table we checked on November 5 lists 0 credits for Free. Plans change often, so check the table on higgsfield.ai/pricing before you decide.
